ANDERSON / DIXIE / USA

ANDERSON / DIXIE / USA ( 1916 - 1926 )

ANDERSON (1916 - 1926) was the most succesful of all makes built in the southern United States [Georgano]. Their best year was 1923 with nearly 2,000 units sold. After a lifetime production of 10,000+ cars the factory closed in September 1926.  The distinguishing feature was two goats running towards each other, what ever taht means....

  1. The red emblems were 1920. The 1921/2’s were blue. 1923 through 25 were white with the oval going up and down. They left off the “Made in Dixie” from the last years as they were trying to market to New Yorkers.
