THE THOMAS FLYER radiator emblem |
In 1908 the THOMAS FLYER won the New York to Paris race before the German PROTOS automobile.
To celebrate this triumph they created a three - dimensional globe as radiator emblem, showing the continents. Even the route is marked !
THOMAS FLYER filed this trademark in April 1910. In 1918 they closed the factory.
You have to look years for this lovely emblem.
