The VAUXHALL MOTORS LTD. started car production in London in 1903.
They moved to LUTON in 1907 where they produced cars until 2002.
The company was acquired by GM in 1925.
The Griffin the on the emblem was adopted from the Plantagenet knight Fulk le Bréant who´s domicile was called "Fulk´s Hall" that became Vauxhall over the years.
Here you can see the first enameled radiator emblem from a VAUXHALL car that was still made in London.
