The ALLEN Iron & Steel Company ( Philadelphia / Pennsylvania ) was famous for its high quality steel production. (Don´t mix it up with the same named company Allen of Fostoria / Columbus ).
In 1914 they announced the production of a small automobile in the cyclecar field.
It had a four-cylinder water cooled 20 hp engine.
Only a few cars were sold so car production ceased after one year.
This believed to be an emblem from the ALLEN light car |
