BENZ tractor / Mannheim / München/ Germany ( 1919 - 1931 )
When you read the name “BENZ”, you automatically think of valuable passenger cars or perhaps even trucks. But who knows that BENZ also produced tractors in the 1920s? Even in Germany, people are astounded in disbelief. But there was a co-production between Benz and Münchener Motorenfabrik. This tractor was equipped with one of the first diesel engines, still without a compressor. Benz Sendling emblems are hard to find, so I´m proud to be able to show one of the few emblems that have survived:

The design was patented and registered in 1920:
The almost identical design of the Benz Gaggenau emblem was patented and registered a year earlier.
