DUESENBERG radiator emblem - silver plated- |
One of the most famous and most expensive cars were built by Frederick DUESENBERG, born in Germany in 1877. His family emigrated to the States and Fred built his first car in Indianapolis in 1920.
Here you see one of the first Duesenberg emblems. I guess it is from the first model.

Of course the original emblem was silver plated. Here you see a German repro from GOEDE and of course not silver plated, only chromed. Please also compare the backsides.
