The SANFORD Motor truck company in Syracuse N.Y. was active from 1913 to 1939. Before the name was Sanbert. It has nothing to do with Henry FORD. In 1969 was founded a new company with the name Sanford fire apparatus Corporation.
May be this ist the first enameled Sanford radiator emblem, but there is no evidence:
