The EMERSON car company was established in Kingston / New York in January 1917.
The company was a result of a collaboration among Robert C. Hupp and the brothers Theodor A. Campbell and George N. Campbell [ Kimes, Clark ].
They tried to compete with Henry Ford´s Model T.
Their slogan was: " The Lowest- Priced 5-Passenger 110-inch Wheelbase Car in the World ".
It was a short living company. They went out of business in November 1917.
