TAU / TURIN / ITALY ( 1924 . 1926 )
Not much is known about the Italian car manufacturer TAU ( Torino Automobili Unita )
Pietro Scaglioni started production in Torino / Italy in 1924 offering a type 95 and a type 90 with 45-HP engine respectively 50-HP.
The design resembled very much the contemporary FIAT 509.
As there was no commercial success car production ceased after approx. 120 cars had been put to sale. To my knowledge only one single car is still in existance in Australia.

TAU automobiles were extremely rare even back then. Only around 120 were built, and one has actually survived in Australia. Here I can show you a photo of the emblem from this vehicle.

There is one in a garage on my street in Australia. In quite good condition for its age.
