Harry M . Jewett made a fortune in the mining industry. With Fred O. Paige he organized the PAIGE - DETROIT company. Soon Jewett eased Paige out of the company and installed himself as president. Jewett dropped "Detroit" but didn´t change the cars name.
In 1925 the company moved into 10th place in the car industry.
In 18 years more than 350,000 cars were sold.
A cheaper model built by PAIGE from 1923 to 1926 was the JEWETT with more than 100,000 cars in 4 years ( see JEWETT ).
In August 1927 , the PAIGE became the GRAHAM - PAIGE as the factory was sold out to the GRAHAM BROTHERS ( see GRAHAM ).

In 1931 - when the name GRAHAM - PAIGE was dropped - the Graham brothers offered a new truck under the name PAIGE. It was an one year only production so it is a hard to find item.
