AUSTRO - FIAT

 AUSTRO  - FIAT  / WIEN / AUSTRIA

AUSTRO - FIAT started car production in 1912. It was an Italian made FIAT for Austria. Their short name was AF.
It was not until 1921 that cars of Austrian origin were offered.
In 1921   - when FIAT sold the factory to an Austrian bank - the name was changed to
Oesterreichische Automobilfabriks-AG, vormals Austro Fiat (vormals = formerly ).
Their short name was: ÖAF

One of the first AUSTRO FIAT radiator emblems is shown here:

There was also a Hungarian license for this type. Unfortunately, I have found only a drawing of the Hungarian emblem made by a Swedish boy in the twenties of the last century. His hobby was painting  emblems from cars waiting for the ferry from Helsingborg / Sweden to Helsingoer / Denmark. What a great hobby!

in 1922 AUSTRO FIAT had enough money to pay a two-pages advertisment

In 1926 the emblem became round:
