VINOT & DEGUINGANG / FRANCE

 VINOT & DEGUINGANG / FRANCE ( 1901 - 1928 )

The company "VINOT & DEGUINGANG" built  a first automobile with a standing two-cylinder engine and chain drive in 1901. Shortly thereafter, they introduced vehicles with cardan drive and 4- and 6-cylinder engines. With the takeover of the company "GLADIATOR" in 1909, there were VINOT vehicles identical to the "GLADIATOR".
The vehicles were built in Puteaux and Nanterre. The place of manufacture was also written on the radiator emblem at times. In the 1920s, sales declined, which resulted in the closure of the factory in Nanterre and its sale to "DONNET" in 1924.   In 1926, depending on the source in 1928, the last vehicle of the brand was produced.
