SCHNEIDER, one of the founders of the famous ROCHET - SCHNEIDER, made
conventional cars which competed without succes in first-class
competition.
He started his own car production in Besancon, a small town in the east of France, in 1910.
In 1931 the last Th. Schneider was built. For me this car had one of the most sophisticated emblems ever made.

Here you see a colored advertisement of 1925 so it is easy to date this emblem:

There are only a few advertisements by Th. Schneider. It looks as if the company did not have a large budget for advertisements.

To my knowledge there was only a second enameled radiator emblem:

Not
as extravagant as the 1925 emblem. Here, the three initial letters of
the company name were simply placed in a diamond shaped frame. |
