SIX Automobiles / PARIS / FRANCE ( 1923 - 1927 )
This automobile factory was founded by the French engineer Gadoux in Paris. It probably existed from 1923 to 1927 and offered a 6-cylinder car with 1,800 ccm and more than 60 HP ( 12 CV). Their slogan was: " LA VOITURE DE MONSIEUR " ( = THE GENTLEMAN´S CAR ) .
Mr. Gadoux chose the brand name “SIX”, no doubt to refer to the number of cylinders. However, this word occurs in numerous car types and is also identical in English and French. This made researching this brand extremely difficult, also there is no article in Wikipedia. It took me years to be able to identify the emblem !

Another French car maker also used the name SIX. It was the OMEGA SIX. For more information please click here.
