HAMLIN - HOLMES

Hamlin Holmes Radiator Emblem

According to the press release issued in September 1919 the idea was to produce a front - wheeldrive car that was the equivalent of Dodge at 10 % less than Ford. The HAMLIN - HOLMES company never did manage this, indeed HAMLIN - HOLMES never really got into production , but somehow the company hung around for a decade assembling a few prototypes [Kimes, Clark].
This original emblem was in the Lee Roy Hartung collection in Chicago put up for auction in November 2011.
