SCRIPPS BOOTH radiator emblem |
SCRIPPS - BOOTH (Detroit) lived from 1912 to 1922. A fascinating variety and an appealing eccentricity marked the cars of James Scripps - Booth [ Kimes, Clark].
The production peak was 1919 with 8,100 cars sold.
Pay attention to reproductions: the original is curved but has a flat backside and there is a makers mark from THE GREENDUCK CO. CHICAGO.
In ten years about 60,000 cars were built so you have a good chance to find an original emblem.
