On this large emblem you see the Napoleonic eagle. There are two versions of these emblem:
here you see the slightly curved version, but there also a very curved version from 1920.
And there is a repro. Only the repro also has enamel on the backside.

This is an early Chenard & Walcker emblem from 1913 !
This emblem is from 1929.
This emblem is from 1937
These two emblems are from 1938; then WWII stopped
the civil car production. After WWII there was only a light vehicle.
Chenard & Walcker won the very first 24 hours Le Mans endurance race in 1923. And they also made the second place! Today the winning car is in the museum at the circuit of Le Mans.
