DIXIE FLYER / LOUISVILLE / USA ( 1916 - 1923 )
The DIXIE FLYER was a product of the Kentucky wagon works. The use of
the name "FLYER" was common (THOMAS FLYER, COEY FLYER, SMITH FLYER
etc.).
In February 1916 the new DIXIE FLYER started for a 7 years career. The slogan of the DIXIE FLYER was: " The logical car" .
In seven years 7,500 cars were sold. Their best year was 1921 with a production of 1,524 cars.
Only 2 - 3 cars are known to survive.

Before 1920 there was an oval emblem. I was able to see this emblem in a museum during my vacation in Iceland:
