SAMPSON / DETROIT / USA ( 1910 - 1912 )
The ALDEN - SAMPSON Mfg. Co, well known for trucks, lived from 1905 to
1912. In 1910 the factory was sold to the United States Motor Company.
The United States Company decided to built cars and trucks. Both the
SAMPSON car and the SAMPSON truck died with the collapse of
UNITED`STATES Motor in 1912.

The emblem is a very fine original and from the Lee Roy Hartung collection, that was put up for auction in November 2011. Pay attention there is repro with red enamel made by Harry Pulfer.
