The KISSEL KAR (1907 - 1931) dropped the word KAR in 1919 after WW 1 because of its German sound. Their best year was 1917 with 1,618 cars sold.
Here you see the very rare and first enamel emblem they used from 1910 to 1912.

What a nice emblem showing the Roman deity Mercury. This is a silver - plated metal disk.
They used this emblem from 1918 to 1928, also mounted on the radiator net and not on the shell.
Very, very desirable.

During 1928 and 1929 ca. 200 Kissel-built coaches were distributed through the National Casket Company of Boston, and called NATIONAL-KISSEL
