There had been more than one car manufacturer with the name FRONTENAC in car history.
The first in Newburgh / New York ( 1906 - 1913), the second in Indianapolis / Indiana ( 1912 - 1925)

In 1931, at the end of the DURANT car history, the Canadian DURANT factory became independent.
FRONTENAC were based on DURANT cars, but the name was dropped.
