The HERBERT ENGINEERING Co Ltd.of Reading / England made enough money during WWI to start in the automobile business in 1919. They built sport tourers.
Ambitious participation in races and warranty problems led to the fact that the liquidity of the company became too limited, so that the company ceased operations in 1931.
