CYKLON / BERLIN / GERMANY ( 1903 - 1927 )
The German CYCLON Automobilwerke GmbH became famous for its three-wheeler, that had the engine on top of the front wheel.
|
This three - wheeler was built from 1903 to 1923
|
At least from 1926 on CYCLON offered also a conventional car, the 7/40 HP CYKLON Type D:

From 1923 to 1926 CYKLON produced chassis and engines for the SCHEBERA, another hardly known German automobile manufacturer.
In 1926 / 27 they offered their first car with 4 wheels, using a
6-cylinder engine and the chassis and coachwork from the well known
German ADLER. The car was distributed by DIXI agencies as the cheapest
German SIX- Cylinder car ever.
Nevertheless there was no commercial success at all and production
ceased after one year. It seems that only one vehicle survived to date
and the radiator emblem is a very hard to find item.
