PEUGEOT trucks (utilitaires)


PEUGEOT also built light-duty trucks.

While the cars were classified by a number with a "0" in the middle of three numbers like 201, 301, 401, 601, 202, 302, 402, 203, 403, 404, 504, 604 etc. the light-duty trucks and their emblems are showing at least one letter like 201 T, 301 T, MKD, SKD, Q3A, DMA etc.

In my collection are 13 different prewar PEUGEOT truck  emblems. The French are calling the light-duty truck:  Utilitaire. So please have a look at my PEUGEOT  utilitaire emblems:

PEUGEOT MK4 -   I don't know if this aerodynamic design was ever realized -




While WWII the military needed vast amounts metals to produce weapons etc.
So PEUGEOT built the emblem in Bakelite,  the first synthetic material.
These war emblems are hard to find.

One of the most popular Peugeot utilitaire was the type Peugeot 202 U. On all emblems you find the letter U :

Here comes the most beautiful post war Peugeot truck emblem. You find it on the the type D3A, D4A, D4B  but also on the trunk of the very Peugeot Cabriolet and Coupe 203 trunk.
